Be Still.

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;

I will be exalted among the nations,

I will be exalted in the earth." -Psalm 46:10

This life is crazy, and often times we become so distracted that it feels like we are in a whirlwind. The chaos and stresses of life consume much of our thoughts.

The Psalmist tells us that God says for us to "be still."

It's a good reminder for us, that even through troubled and stressful times, we have no need to worry. God remains in control of every situation that we face. All we need to do is trust Him.

To "be still" means to give your troubles and things that bother you to God.

When Jesus was in the boat with the disciples, and a storm caused the sea to become violent. The disciples became fearful of the storm and chaos that surrounded them. To ease the disciples, Jesus spoke to the storm, "be still", and the sea became still.

The disciples told Jesus of their fears, and Jesus said to "be still".

When you face turbulent storms in your life, remember that God is always there for you. He is there to calm, love, and remind you that you are His child. He cares about the fears you have.

When you tell Him of your fears, He is there to calm you and tell the storms to be still.
